Colonel Helen Stewart

Dean of Students

Colonel Helen Stewart is the Dean of Students, College of International Security Affairs (CISA), National Defense University (NDU). She is an Air Force officer with 22 years of experience in various command and staff positions. She commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps and has served her entire career as a Federal Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. In this capacity, she has commanded at the detachment and squadron levels, leading diverse criminal, fraud, and counterintelligence investigations. Prior to her time at National Defense University, she served as the Director of Staff to the Inspector General of the Air Force.
