Jillian Jacobs is a junior at Duke University majoring in Philosophy and Political Science with a Security, Peace, and Conflict concentration. She is also pursuing a certificate in human rights. Jillian’s area of interest is U.S. national security and counterterrorism strategies. She has conducted research on domestic radicalization and cofounded Lumi Media Consulting L.L.C. which promotes the work of organizations combatting online radicalization. On campus, Jillian is co-president of the Duke-UNICEF Club and a Duke Human Rights Student Advisory Board member. After graduation, Jillian plans to attend law school with a focus on national security and human rights law.
