Welcome to the College of International Security Affairs (Ft. Bragg Campus)

Welcome to National Defense University, Class of 2027.

You were selected to be here. That selection reflects trust—trust in your performance to date and in your potential to contribute at higher levels of responsibility. The year ahead will be demanding. It should be. It will also be professionally and personally rewarding if you approach it with discipline and intent.

During your time here, you will be interacting with colleagues from across the U.S. Interagency, as well as with our many International Fellows, as we embrace a mixture of people, cultures, and ideas. Our faculty and staff are committed to delivering an environment that is inclusive, intellectually serious, and academically rigorous. This is not a pause in your career; it is an investment in it. You will have the opportunity to step back from daily operational demands, study the foundations of national security, test assumptions, and refine your judgment. Use this time to sharpen your ability to think strategically across disciplines and instruments of power.

I encourage you to review this page regularly. We will update it frequently with information to help you and your families transition smoothly into this next assignment. We look forward to your arrival. The year ahead is an opportunity—one that will shape how you think, how you lead, and how you serve. We are honored to accompany you on that journey.
