CDR Thomas Fulham earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 2007 and was commissioned through its Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program.
CDR Fulham reported to his first command aboard USS ESSEX (LHD 2) in Sasebo Japan, where he served as the Main Propulsion 1 Division Officer. In November 2008, he reported to OPNAV N3/N5 as a watch officer in the Navy Operations Center.
In 2011, CDR Fulham transitioned to the Navy Reserve. His tours of duty have included Navy staffs, expeditionary warfare, and the USS Constitution. He has commanded four reserve augmentation units.
CDR Fulham also became a federal civilian in 2011, joining the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where he served in various capacities.
CDR Fulham’s awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (five awards) and various unit and service awards.
