On February 6, CISA hosted Mr. Metin Hakverdi, Member of the German Parliament from the Social Democratic Party, who discussed EU security challenges, including Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and German perspectives on geostrategic issues.

Mr. Hakverdi's visit came days before German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with President Joe Biden in Washington, D.C. CISA student CAPT Marc Rohrmann (Class of 2024) introduced the speaker, and CISA Professor Dr. Erica Marat moderated the discussion.
