Ms. Lindsey DeCourcey, MBA

Academic Specialist

A native of Richmond, Rhode Island, Lindsey comes to NDU after several successful years serving a variety of both student and faculty populations at St. Andrews University. Primarily, Lindsey was the lead Admissions counselor for International Students in both the Graduate and Undergraduate programs, as well as the Equestrian program Admissions counselor for the University. During her time in Admissions, Lindsey served as the University Designated School Official (DSO) with SEVIS/Homeland Security, faculty liaison for the University’s General Honors program and lead the creation of a Veterinary Science Honors program. She was also the University's enrollment events coordinator, summer veterinary camp coordinator, as well as served in various other academic support and development capacities as needed. Prior to her position at St. Andrews, she served as Assistant Store Manager specializing in Operations and Sales Team Development at multiple multi-million-dollar retail locations for Tapestry, Inc. where she was recognized with a national leadership award in 2017. Lindsey is also a former Intercollegiate Equestrian Coach at both Florida Gulf Coast University and St. Andrews University, as well as at The Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA where she coached a National Champion Middle School Team in 2007 following her own nationally successful equestrian career.

Lindsey completed her Master of Business Administration from St. Andrews University and graduated with distinction in 2021. She holds both a B.S. in Business Management as well as an A.S. in Equine Studies (Pre-veterinary) from Johnson & Wales University where she graduated cum laude in 2006. Lindsey considers herself a lifelong student with a passion for higher education, which she hopes to continue in the future. Her motto is “Work hard, have fun, make a difference” and she believes this is something that has been essential to live by in both her professional roles and daily life. Outside of work she enjoys living simply, spending time outdoors, on the water, gardening, and traveling. Lindsey lives on a small farm in the countryside with her husband John, and her two bonus daughters Avery and Myer.
